Welcome!
I have been taking photos most of my life, the last 23 professionally.
I started as a trainee on the Reading Chronicle (Berkshire, UK) in May 1988 and qualified as a senior photographer exactly two years later, after completing the NCTJ Press Photography course at Stradbrooke College, Sheffield.
I was made Deputy Chief Photographer at the Reading Chronicle in 1992 and Chief Photographer in 1995.
In 1999, I joined the Shropshire Star (Telford, UK) as Deputy Chief Photographer. before being appointed as Chief Photographer in 2001. I still hold this position today.
This is my blog on anything relating to the photography I do – maybe just a few random thoughts, or maybe a few hints and tips to improve your photography.
And if you’re reading this, do drop me a line and let me know you’re out there, otherwise I’m going to feel particularly sad being the only one reading my thoughts 🙂
